New IEDM Conference Website Offers More Robust Navigation and Multi-Site Platform
IEEE Also Engages LBRB for Ongoing Web Site Maintenance & Support
“We’re excited to announce the launch of the IEEE IEDM Conference website,” said Drew Zagorski, Principal of LeftBrainRightBrain Marketing, “because it provided several great challenges. First, the volume of the information that IEEE provides for its audience – we needed to really think through how we made all of it available without over-complicating the site’s navigation. We devised a way to present sub-pages in a side channel, in an automated way leveraging a ‘parent-child’ page structure. Also, IEEE wanted to be able to generate subsequent year event sites without having to recreate the wheel. To accomplish this, we developed the site using a multi-site platform. That way, after the current conference is done and post-event work is added to the site, the client simply clicks a button to generate next year’s event site.”
