LeftBrainRightBrain Selected to Redesign Site for the IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM)
Beaverton, OR – June 10, 2015 – LeftBrainRightBrain Marketing (LBRB) today announced that it has been awarded the redesign project for the IEDM Conference website by the conference executive committee.
LBRB will be moving the site to a WordPress platform to enable the IEDM committee to better collaborate and maintain it. In addition, the plan is to implement multi-site functionality. This approach allows multiple virtual sites to share a single WordPress installation, so previous years’ conference sites can be archived in whole.
“IEDM contacted us with a need, of course, to refresh the look of the conference site as it’s become dated and isn’t device responsive,” said Drew Zagorski, LeftBrainRightBrain Principal. “In addition, they’re looking to LBRB to help them refine the information architecture, focusing on UI/UX, and to create a better way to archive past events. We’re also going to work on the site’s SEO and get them up and running with Google Analytics, which isn’t implemented in the current iteration. We’ll be looking to launch the new site by the end of Summer 2015 and a also looking forward to working with the IEDM team.”
“When we reviewed proposals for the project, naturally cost-effectiveness was a key,” said Martin Giles, Publicity Vice-Chair of the IEDM Executive Committee. “We felt that along with that, LBRB presented a clear and straightforward proposal, and had a very strong portfolio. In addition, when we spoke with them about the project and what we were aiming to accomplish, they were knowledgeable and provided some great ideas about how to help us achieve our goal.”
